"Those who fear that robots are coming for our jobs were relieved in April when new research from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) revealed that fears of artificial intelligence (AI) were overblown. The report predicted that 14% of jobs in developed countries will likely be lost to AI in the near future, a significant reduction from earlier forecasts, which warned that nearly half of U.S. jobs were threatened by automation.

Yet those who read this data and declare the crisis of job loss averted are simply deluding themselves. Other studies have estimated figures for future automation at even higher than 50%. To anyone denying the inevitable, it’s time to wake up and face reality."
